Help prevent cognitive disability and help Palestinian children grow like others

Every year in Palestine there are 250 to 300 children born with hearing loss. Their hearing loss is severe to the point most of them will need cochlear implants. Cochlear implants are devices that are surgically planted under the skin and in the skull bone and help replace children restore their hearing. The implants are very sophisticated devices and very expensive. While Palestine has done these surgeries before, most programs have slowed down and stopped given lack of funding. Each Cochlear implant costs $10,000 inclusive of the device, surgery, pre and post surgery testing, and post surgical rehabilitation. PAMA has made arrangements with the following parties to assure high quality service; the Red Crescent hospital in Hebron and AlQuds hospital in Gaza, Med El cochlear implant provider in Austria, and hearing loss rehabilitation centers.

Unfortunately, without your help, most Palestinian children who need this service will end up not getting it. Every month and every year passes without your help, the child's cognitive deficit will grows with them, and disability will be unavoidable.
