Help medical students cover their tuition fees and relieve their families of financial hardship
Cost per beneficiary: The project provides one time $1,000 scholarships to students OR Full tuitions for others "about $5,000 a year".
Helping Palestinian male and female youth studying Medicine - especially those having high grades but suffering loss of income - in covering their study expense these are distributed to 7 Palestinian universities at East Jerusalem, West Bank and Gaza Strip as follows (Al Quds, Al Najah, Polytechnic Palestine, Hebron, Arab American, Al Azhar, Islamic and Berzit University).
Projects and initiatives:
- Full scholarships: 75 medical students were granted scholarships to cover full tuition costs for the 2022-2023 school year
- Partial scholarships: 170 medical students benefited from partial scholarships
- 5 outstanding honor roll medical students were awarded laptops at Al Azhar and Islamic universities in Gaza
- Provision of weekly online training sessions and lectures to the Palestinian medical cadre (Specialist Government Hospital) for enhancing its preparedness in treating the wounded and other patients requiring urgent attention
