We Are Fundraising to Help Palestinian Children Who Suffer from Congenital Anomalies

The national healthcare system in Palestine is overwhelmed and unable to meet the needs of patients promptly. Children in Gaza needing urgent surgical interventions are suffering. PAMA is collaborating with Palestinian hospitals to tackle this shortcoming in the system. We have completed 20 surgeries in Gaza and 20 more in the West Bank, but there is much more work to be done.

The waiting list at national Palestinian hospitals is long, and without timely surgeries, hundreds of these children will be at risk for serious complications. PAMA facilitates all the logistics to add an after-hours surgery shift at Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah and other hospitals. This method enables us to carry out surgeries today for children who were scheduled two years out. These surgeries are urgent and can not wait, but the Palestinian health system is overwhelmed with the volume of cases. This is a great collaboration between PAMA and PMC, the children will have the surgery done at the same hospital and by the same outstanding staff, but sooner. Donate to our project now, every $700 will help relieve another child's suffering.

Cost per beneficiary: The cost per Child is about $700 due to the complicated and lengthy nature of these surgeries.
